Membership is open to any person, firm, organization, or corporation who owns or operates a business, owns business property, or has a business interest in the NE Broadway business district.
As a member you play a key role in promoting the unity of our business district. You and your business are important to making our community thrive and we want to help you succeed.
Your membership allows us to to serve, advocate for, and promote the vibrant businesses within our district. Supporting your business and those around you has never been easier.
As a member, you gain access to the business association's resources and services and have a direct liaison to City Hall. You also get updates about issues concerning safety and security, local improvements, and events.

Networking events - As a member you gain access to our networking events, such as Coffee & Connections and After Hours on Broadway. Each event is hosted by a local business and gives you the opportunity to connect with others.

& SERVICES
NEBBA Annual Membership Meeting (October). Join NEBBA members at Steeplejack Brewing to elect new NEBBA Board members, recap the last year's successes and new initiatives, and plan for the next year. 5:30pm. Members only.
District Map (Reprinting FALL) – This new map highlights district businesses and events with up to 5,000 copies distributed to businesses, hotels, Travel Portland Visitor Center and nearby residents. A FREE business listing is included for each NEBBA member.
Lights on Broadway: Ornamental tree lighting to help increase security and provide a pleasant atmosphere to activate night-time pedestrian traffic.
Broadway Business Boost (Fall 2025) – NEBBA will be launching events and initiatives specifically geared to drive business traffic to our newly updated business corridor.

ADVOCACY AND REPRESENTATION
Advocating for City Services and Resources – As local business owners, we advocate for the business district and business owners by developing strong relationships with City Commissioners, law enforcement, and Bureau staff.
Board and Committees: Join the Board or committees and help make important decisions about NE Broadway events, promotions and advocacy efforts.

VENTURE PORTLAND MEMBER BENEFITS
Grant Funding – eligible to apply for annual grants for district projects/events.
City-wide Marketing Campaigns – highlight neighborhood businesses and districts.
Representation with City leaders – serves as liaison to Venture Portland, City officials and neighborhood business districts; elevates status of district businesses.
